Reading is a skill. If you have developed a reading habit, good! Otherwise, not bad! Anyway you read. Everyday you read. Something or the other. Question is, are we consciously enhancing the skill?
You can try this quarantine, I know, many of us have already started hunting down the best-sellers, and many have completed reading a few.
Is there anyone among us who doesn't retell quotes from books? And many a time from the books we haven't read. Verily, that's the power of words. Books mold us and at times ruin us. Although it is a reader's choice, seldom it is unmeant to be. Why else would we be given the right to choose from good and bad? Perhaps, there is nothing like bad books, but it can have a bad influence, which might harm. Books are known as the wisest of counselors. Good ones help, they become your loyal friend.
Once immersed in reading, it is hard to forsake. You all must have had days in school and home hiding your favorite storybook inside the text just to save yourself from getting caught by your teachers and parents. Most weird is taking along the book to the loo, as though we were inculcating great skills like time management and multitasking!
Are you ready to get addicted to reading?
