We always love to implement many new habits. Sometimes we want to break any of our bad habits. But unfortunately, we cannot completely stick to those new habits.


Of course, you may feel bad for that. But it's quite normal. Without giving up, you have to find ways to stick to your new habit.

1) Make a plan


Just think which habit you are going to develop. Jot down your new habits in your notebook. It is better to make a realistic goal/habit.

2) Set a reminder

Now you have decided and identified which habit to stick to it. Now, the next step is to incorporate these new habits in your daily life. You can use Google Calendar to set remainder or else you can find many applications in Google Play Store.


3) Motivate yourself

Are you sure that you can stick to your new habits regularly? If your answer is no, then you should push yourself to motivate.


Stick motivational quotes wherever you can see. For example, you can stick motivation quotes near a mirror or in a bedroom wall. You can even set motivational quotes as your wallpaper.


4) Connect with friends


It is better to connect with people who has same habit/goal as yours. It allows you to discuss with your network and motivate you to stick to it.


5) Developing habit takes time

Nobody can build a new habit in a single day. It takes time. So start your habit with simple daily goal. For example, If you planned to write daily, start writing 15 minutes a day. After somedays you can increase your time to 30 minutes according to your convenience.



6) Think about the benefits


If you ever felt like quitting your new habit, just think about the benefits of your new habit. For example, If your new habit is exercising, just think their benefits. This will definitely make you stick to it.


7) Reward yourself


Track your progress regularly and reward yourself whenever you feel happy with your new habit.
