THE TWO 'P's BEHIND EVERY ACTION.

The World runs in the Cycle of Action and its Consequences. How many of us would pause and process before we act? A Considerable number. but, How many of us process it in the right way?

A handful. To make the Handful into many keep reading.

PAIN and PLEASURE, The principle that rules our entire decision-making process and the actions implemented. The two 'P's Pain and Pleasure is explained by Sigmund Freud as

People will act, either to seek pleasure or to avoid pain. Pain is the outcome that nobody wants in their life for their actions or during their actions even though they get long term pleasures after it. Realizing the Fact that Pain is inevitable in life, below are 5 facts that everyone needs to know based on pain and pleasure.

(We refers to the general population)

#1 We tend to opt short term pleasures over anything due to the dopamine effects.

#2 When given a chance of two painful options one mostly chooses the less painful one even if it has temporary less pleasuring results but has long term aftermath effects.

#3 Absence of pleasure also comes under pain.

#4 EMOTIONS, An ounce of strong emotion can outweigh two ounces of logical and intellectual actions. Yet, a painful behavior resulting in positive emotions, people won't choose to do it. That's how much we fear Pain.

#5 Survival instinct is the emperor. Any amount of pleasure will be denied if it risks our life.

also, any trivial pleasure (it is subjective) that has the most dopamine effect on us will be perceived as a life or death situation. For eg: Drugs, Sugar cravings. If You don't take the

pleasure of it then u die. That's how any addictive behavior in the brain will be wired.

Now, Knowledge when applied is power.! Using this principle one can be efficient, structured, and coherent in making decisions.

  1. Set a goal. You can also break down your ultimate goal into smaller parts and each part is a target now. ( grasp the fact that any goal needs work.)

2. Alter that Association. We often associate Work with Pain. eg: staying late nights, starving, restrictions which depend on the goal you set. But these are the misconceptions of all the time. When you put in your complete work and be consistent you get the result. How much work? is subjective.

Eg. Learning a language. work on it mindfully for 30 minutes every day, you will unconsciously be progressing in it.

Link pleasure with the work you do which is done by Associating your feel-good moments to your work. Feel a certain way and feel it strongly. Next time whenever you feel good go grab a book and start learning or start working out or begin that undone task or any small step

towards your goal.

This will trick your brain into liking that behavior and you will want to feel that pleasure over and over again.

3. Visualize Visualize Visualize. What you focus on becomes your reality, various researches

have proved that Our brain does not know the difference between imagination and reality. Picture yourself working on the goal you set and you are achieving it. This will trigger happy hormones in the body, and at the close, you will start working for it.

"Neurons that fire together, wire together"

4. To avoid pain, instead of thinking the pleasure you seek temporarily from not doing the job or doing the instant pleasure things, think of the pain you get from, what if the job is left unfinished. Visualize the pain and impact of that action that you go through whenever you deviate from the goal steps. Impulsivity, immediate pleasure-seeking actions are all the drifters and deviators.

5. Emotions. What else has its power on us. It's our own emotions. Link your strongest emotionally closest situation or a person to your goal which will encourage you to see the pleasure and positive side of the action that needs to be done.

Precisely, What does the Consequence of our present action brings us? THE PAIN OR PLEASURE IN THE LONG RUN. Where there is no pain there is no pleasure. We need to experience the pain to know the relief otherwise, there is no such thing called relief it's just numb.

DECISIONS BECOME OUR HABITS AND HABITS BECOME OUR LIFESTYLE. NOW THAT YOU ALL HAVE IT...TAKE THAT DECISION RIGHT AWAY!
