There are so many reasons starting from big events to a buildup of smaller stressful life situations that could trigger excessive anxiety. Here are a few statements you could tell yourself to cope up with your anxiety. Tell these statements out loud for your ears to hear and transmit the meaning to your brain.
I allow myself to slow down my breath
Fighting this feeling won't help. I'll relax and allow it to pass.
I tune in to my body and release tension from my muscles.
I am okay. My anxiety is not always rational.
I choose to slow down and breathe.
I am stronger than I give myself credit for. I always survive this.
I stay present and ground myself in this moment.
I don't have to get carried away with my thoughts. I focus on my breath and on this moment.

Anxiety is normal. Just tell yourself it's time to use your coping strategies when you feel any anxiety. When you relax and sit with this feeling, you learn to face your fears and let beauty rise from the ashes.
