Pandemic Brings Agony

Earth must be in agony of losing the most wonderful creature it bears. Humans are mysterious. COVID season has seen some strange presumptions, humans judge the pandemic to be their 'KARMA'. So are we holding ourselves responsible or are we trying to point out others' errors? Have we come to the realization that it is OUR mistake rather THEIR mistake. Or are we still fantasized about our superlative ideality which doesn't exist? How could humans suddenly have a classification? How could we state, "I was doing it right, they were not"? So are we some nugatory lives who value teamwork only at cooperates we survive but not on the Earth we live? To Err is Human

Let us now accept that we did take the Earth for granted, though we have immense love for her. It happens. To err is human, to forgive is divine. Maybe this is how we pay for our deeds. Our days inside our home have taught us how it is to be isolated from nature and fellow beings. This Earth's Day is a sad one, humans are confined to their homes. Celebration? It is prayers this time. Prayers to heal humans and revivify our Earth!
We have Changed
We were negligent about caring for ourselves and our Earth. There was a time we forgot our car's key at home, now, stepping out of our home, we have already worn our mask and gloves, and sanitizer is hung to our bag. We were crazy about eating from our favorite restaurant, now, we have almost cooked and baked everything at home. We didn't have time for our family, now, we all sit together around our dining table.
We feel contrite. We have changed. Give us a chance, we will make this a better place. Tomorrow, we will be celebrating the 50th Earth Day- an even number, supposedly, an odd day. Let us not lose hope, let us do at home every little thing that saves the Earth.

Thanks Kavin!
