We might have heard about the classifications in personalities like Introverts and Extroverts. But what about the people who cannot place themselves squarely into either of those two personality types? They're ambiverts.

Who is an ambivert?

Someone who features a blend of traits from both introverts and extroverts, also their unique strengths.

Ambiverts overall behaviour is between introversion or extroversion and that they can flip into either counting on their mood, context, and goals.

Ambiverts have a deep advantage over true introverts and extroverts. Because their personality doesn't lean too heavily in either direction, they have a way easier time adjusting their approach to people depending on their situation. This permits them to attach more easily, and more deeply, with a wider sort of people.

Signs that you simply are an ambivert:

• You will feel comfortable in social settings but also value your alone time.

• If you spend too much time alone, you get bored, yet an excessive amount of time around people leaves you feeling drained.

• You're an honest listener and communicator. You recognize when to talk up and when to concentrate.

• Like extroverts, you enjoy conversation, but like introverts, you hate chitchat.

• You're very reserved in some situations.
