Borderline Middle-Class: Hilarious

I think I am funny enough. I do not think I have to go up on stage and struggle to make people laugh. I think I should just write a hilarious blog about it and hence here it is, the sneak peek inside the brains of a middle class, early adult.

So, recently my dad and my elder sister decided on renovating the house and changing the furniture for better ones. This doesn’t sound very middle class I know but the fact is that we are replacing the future that we got 25 years ago when we first moved in and one of the springs in the sofa just point blank refuses to spring back up so we couldn’t turn a blind eye to it anymore and there is my brief introduction to my middle-class home. Other than this magnificent plan, they even though of replacing the carpet.

The one we had earlier was just plain and was like the magic carpet from Aladdin’s to our teapoy urf tea table. The new carpet had three features that were more like flaws in my head. It was 6x9feet in dimension so it practically covered up a lot of my walking space, it was Marie Gold with no orange-infused biscuit color urf beige and it’s got FUR and I can not emphasize it enough.

Since it covered up a lot of areas and the original shape it came in is a rectangle and the fact that I mentally and physically refused to walk on it, I made these shortest jumps diagonally across it like a deer in my living room to get to places. When the carpet came home, my self-trust issues as to where my feet had been shot to the roof and as a non-socks person started wearing socks. Not used and washed ones but a whole new pair of socks out of the cover. This is when I realized that you can take the success out of a middle-class man but you can not take a middle-class man out of success and for every time I tried to forget the term and get past this blog, it is what it is, Borderline middle-class.

It has been a week since the carpet arrived and I still refuse to walk on it irrespective of the status of my conscious. I mean its’s 6x9feet in dimension, it’s beige and it’s got FUR.
