Brother's Day Special ✨

While growing up as a single child, all I wanted till recent years was an elder brother. I wished everyday that, everytime I made a mess or caught up with some trouble, my brother would emerge out of nowhere to help me get rid of it. I've always imagined him to be a superhero. My own super hero, who'd help me with my academics, pump me up in dull moments, teach me some cooking, self defence and stay with me forever. But I understand that my superhero since he's my own brother, is flawed and fabulous. It's okay if he makes mistakes and that doesn't lessen his greatness at all. I've a younger brother now and even brothers from another mothers , who've made me realise that biological relation is not a must to be a family, but your emotions and those true feelings in your heart make you a family. Brothers have always been that heroic icons in my life. Well, here I'm not denying that they irritate you in every possible way on this earth like they'd raise the hell for you making silly noises,tamper with your stationary, tickle you at most unexpected time, pull your hair, call you fat and even wake you up at midnight to ask you to cook something. But it's all bearable because they always thrash the ones who give you a hard time(but they still won't stop giving you a hard time themselves), bring you the most beautiful and expensive gifts(and make sure you never forget what they gifted you 20 years ago, technically they give those gifts as bribes so that you don't tell your parents about that scratch on car) and they're always ready to dig the grave of those who disrespect you. The only thing which fills them with immense rage is your pain(They don't joke around when you're emotionally hurt). Basically, what I have seen is that, brothers are good advisors and caretakers as they're thr perfect blend of mother's love and father's care. The not so visible form of these two traits, makes them your "bhai", that's why almost every man as a brother is a(pseudo)genie you could ever ask for. (Pseudo because he's sensible enough to make judgements regarding your wishes.) Brothers make you feel alive. The tiny fragments of memories which they provide to you on a daily basis will sum up to be your most magnificent album,a blast from the past kind of thing. You won't remember how terribly you were nagged rather you'd be sobbing if you ever recalled how affectionately they've tried to lend you a shoulder to cry upon and how patiently they've heard even the silliest talks you could ever think of. Cherish every moment while you're with them. It won't be inappropriate if you "Eat-sleep-fight" on loop. Just make sure that no external force dares to bring sourness amongst you and then everything else is acceptable.🌸 Well, if you thought about someone while reading it, take a moment to thank god for blessing you with such an amazing creature. Also, catch them up for a moment if you can, after all these creatures resemble humans, who've always loved attention. And making your brothers feel special for a day, won't really hurt you, I guarantee that.😘
