Speaking about dark, we have dark web, dark phoenix, dark chocolate, and so on. We even have many series and novels that deal with the darkness. We all know that the darkest color on earth is black, but did you know that the blackest material on earth is a 'man-made' material called "Vantablack"? The question is why are people so obsessed with the black color to an extent that someone 'made' the darkest shade of black? Have you ever wondered what makes black color so interesting?

Usually, people think of "madness, death and lost love" when someone talks about darkness, some also get remembered of some gothic horror movie that makes our blood grow cold. The color a person likes can tell a lot about them, it reflects the status of our inner conflicts and insecurities. It is scientifically proved that people who like black have a broad way of thinking, are good at understanding thoughts, and are also empathetic to others. Usually, a person starts liking black because it will make them feel secretive, solemn, somber and moody which will make them look interesting to others, helps them build walls to keep people out so no one knows about us except for ourselves and that thrills us from tip of toes to the crown on our head. And we do this to block ourselves from unsolicited criticism. We understand that we have more depth in our character, but we choose to withhold our real selves form others. This kind of stratagem is electrifying and makes us convex to be this dark, moody individual, who lives a care-free life in solitude. We feel so proud to hide our real selves in darkness because no one will ever know us and that gives us a sense of satisfaction. They will not sense what hits them before its too much behind time.

Well, it is important to know about people and their layers of colors. It's not about pink or yellow. It's about symmetry, the bright side and the dark side. Where, the dark side has three layers, the dark, darker, and the darkest which is all about the close circles you have in your life. You share your bright side with everyone, the dark ones to only your friends, the darker ones to your family, and the darkest one only to yourself. So choose the people who fit in your shades of black carefully. And what finally matters is how hard you stick to your values and stay true to who you are.
