Fear is Overrated!

Remember when you thought getting someone you like’s attention is by ignoring them? Been there, done that and that was the lie that fear told us and we believed. Try and realize the number of chances and opportunities we have lost in the battle against fear.

There are a countless number of reasons for one to be fearful. It may be the fear of failure, fear of social disapproval, fear of insecurity, fear of losing what they already have, and so on. It is the result of the birth of desire. When one desires to achieve, do or be someone, fear is accompanied all along until the desires have been met because the destination has not been reached and plans have not been executed yet and there is a constant cloud of fear hovering over the cloud of desire waiting for its chance to pour down the self-confidence, courage, and belief.

Though we live and breathe fear every day, one has to understand that fear is the magical way of facing life. One cannot ignore or hide fear to make it invisible to others and be verklempt by it, rather one has to recognize and acknowledge the fear deeply rooted and find the most germane and appropriate action that can be put into motion to completely abolish the realities and lies of fear.

I am not here to say that fear is imaginary, fear is very much real and there are tons of experiences in our lives that second that and it is the most sentient of all the emotions humans feel but we cannot let fear be the ruler of our empire. We have all come along a very steep and treacherous road in life to achieve and build the life we cherish and be satisfied or so we think but along the way, fear has tactfully been able to snatch away a lot of our courage, confidence, and trust but ideally, if we could recognize fear initially and make the changes priorly, imagine how much farther cherished and satisfied our lives might have been.

All there is to make crystal clear is that fear is an emotion that is given more importance, and priority than it deserves, and more it is nourished the more it feeds on being overrated.

“Everything blissful is on the other side of terror”.
