How to organize time?

"Time waits for none".


We often heard this phrase atleast once in our lifetime. The most valuable thing is Time. We can't hold or reverse the Time. None can buy it. This proves how important the time is.


Even we know its importance, sometimes we fail to use time properly. Most of the time, we tend to waste time and blame the time for not being slow. We know the truth that time waits for none. But we can't accept the reality.


The only difference between a successful and unsuccessful person is how they're managing their time.


This article is mainly focused on how to organize your time.


1) Note how you spend your day

Take a notebook and write down all the activities you have done and note which activity makes you to waste time. After this, analyze how you can manage your time properly.


2) Set realistic goals

Making goals are highly beneficial and motivating. But at the same time make sure that you set goals which you can accomplish. For instance, If you wanna read a book, set goal based on how much time you need to complete reading. Avoiding setting goal to complete reading 1000 pages within 30 minutes unless you can.


3) Prepare schedule

Prepare schedule everyday. Mark important tasks, dates and appointments on the calender that can be either physical or apps. So that you can't forget any important tasks. Set reminder in your mobile phone. Try to avoid double committing.

4) Avoid distraction

Distractions are one of the main reason for wasting time. Turn off your phone and avoid using social media during work. Always fix certain time for replying emails and messages.


5) Set deadlines

Don't drag your work till the deadlines. Try to finish before deadlines. So you can avoid last minute pressure and also save some time to relax.


6) Take a break

It's very essential to take break from hectic schedule. It helps your brain to refresh. Atleast take 20 minutes break in between every activities. It's better to avoid long phone calls and useless internet surfing.


7) Self rewarding

After you successfully completed your task within your schedule, reward yourself by taking rest, spending time with friends, watching movie and whatever makes you happy. Don't forget to have sleep for 6-8 hours.


Always have a balance between the work and fun.


As Time is precious, try to organise it wisely by identifying how you spend time, setting realistic goals and schedules. Sometimes you need to take break which is very essential for both physical and psychological health. Finally, don't forget to reward yourself


Time is money. So spend it wisely!
