LADAKH - THE BROKEN MOON LAND

We, humans, are the most expressive creatures in the world, even the most introverted! Midsummer in India is the most enchanting season to come over and get ensconced on to the terrain of Ladakh. Every year bike riders , couples pack their knapsack and start their hard drive towards the terrain passes. Ladakh is said to have the highest number of motorable passes.
If you're a adventure seeker or excursionist then Ladakh is just the perfect place for you. It is the land of thrill and shrill rides. When you pass by the daunting high peak passes with valleys on the other side, they make the trip unwilling to end. Never the lesser is the beauty of Ladakh's wide varied natural view points, the inmates of Ladakh are more admirable and enchantress.Most of the riders prefer the roburst Royal Enfield than any other bikes. They make even the toughest voyage more pleasantful. Even the road leading to Ladakh has its own appeal. As soon as you reach Ladakh, the glimpse of its snow stretched structure is a drastic feel to the viwer. There's nothing more enchanting than nature's handiwork in Ladakh...
Night-fall in Ladakh is one of the most endevouring memories for all travelers there . The heart stealing mild breeze from the deep valley provokes our inner soul to enlightenment. The variety of dances and festivals there give a damn challenge to all our skill-sets. On the other side the variety of dishes like Thukpa, a piping hot soup with noodles and vegetable meat combination and Chang, a warm brew of millet with yeast,will be a perfect companion for the weather, Skyu and Chutaki , stewed noodles is served hot with meat , Khambir, another delicacy, a traditional bread is served along with butter and tea. They are intended to keep them fit and prevent from de-hydration at the altitudes they traverse through.
Ladak is well known for its colourful festivals with vibrant cultural celebrations. The Sindu Dharshan festival ,a saluting communal harmony . The Hemis Festival, hosted by the Buddhist Hemis Gompa monastery celebrating with traditional wear and head gears will perform the masked dance called Chaam. The festival extends for a period more than a week long .Ladakh Festival celebrated in September is a sight to behold.Then after Ladakh resonates with excitement, fun and musical and dance concerts all over the territory.
Itinerary covered Ladakh will protrude its vibrant colors. Ladakh is a marvel of rugged uneven valleys, snow-shroulded mountains, anonymous hills, passes,barren lands, crambled and voluptuous roads ,centuries old monasteries and many reflect their culture and habits. The confluence of Indus , Zanskar rivers is a feast for someone of poetic mind. These range of hills leaves no one to be left not being astonished. And if one is tired of visiting all the places on the hill, one can halt at Gurudwara Pathar Saheb. Being served with hot tea, will rejuvenate your senses for the hilly ride to end a great marvelous journey. The most attraction of Ladakh is the Pangong Lake ,a calm, soul seeking place to visit.
