A few months back New Delhi, India banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok. It is a surprise to many, who deemed it harsh, as India again, had pubg banned among 117 apps more. Pubg India ban including other apps comes in a time where there is a scorching heat between India and China.

According to India’s IT Ministry, the reason for these bans is the transmission of user data among other security reasons.
"Prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.” The move will help “safeguard the interests of crores (tens of millions) of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety, security, and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace,” the ministry said.
The Indian government said in a statement, “Using the sovereign powers, the Government of India has decided to block the usage of certain Apps, used in both mobile and non-mobile Internet-enabled devices. These apps are listed in the attached appendix. This move will safeguard the interests of crores of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety, security, and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace.”
India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology also released a statement to further buttress these unwittingly ban.
“The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has received many complaints from various sources including several reports about misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to servers which have locations outside of India,” the ministry said in a statement. “There has been a strong chorus in the public space to take strict action against apps that harm India’s sovereignty as well as the privacy of our citizens.”
Some of the new apps include Baidu, WeChat Work, Rise of Kingdoms, APUS Launcher, VPN for TikTok, CamCard, and more.
India is a big international market for Chinese apps. This is because large India population uses these Chinese apps. Will the Chinese tech industry feel this? Yes, they will, definitely. Pubg corporation will feel hurt too, although the corporation still holds millions of users around the world.
However, more is to be feared as several leading nations hold a negative stance against Chinese apps. for instance, U.S. Is currently at the edge with china on the speculation of banning TikTok for its country. it won't be so much surprise if the U.S. joins pubg mobile ban list.
50 million PUBG users and non-user will still ask why the ban occurs? Well, with deep analysis, the pubg India ban is due to the rate at which Chinese apps transfer users' data to unsolicited networks. Although, other apps including social media those this. But, more is feared when users data get into the hand of Chinese. India and China are currently in the middle of a border dispute — Ladakh India. Cybersecurity concerns as well as geopolitical tensions seriously further hampered the two neighboring countries. Also, the news has it that over 20 Indian soldiers were killed in Himalayas in June.

These reasons hit the India government, thus warranting the banning of these apps as a retaliation. There is no doubt what this can result in the near future. Anyways, we should hope for peace negotiations in the far future. it what best for China, India, and the Indians.
