Sigmund Freud was a psychologist who was keen on finding the psychology behind human actions and behavior. He was born in a middle-class Jewish family. He founded psychoanalysis as a major study of psychology. It mainly interprets the various psychological functioning of a human beings. In one of his speeches he even explained that he himself was his greatest test case. He even predicted his own death by the age of 61-62 but he actually died at 83.He was keen on studying the cause and sufferings of human beings. He even proposed that we all are attracted to pleasure. And our mind avoids discomfort to a great level. He gave the Pleasure principle which states that our actions and behavior are governed by this pressure principle.
He also proposed that in our mind there is always a conflict going on between the three parts of the human consciousness which are ID, superego, and ego, this principle theory is called the reality principle. Sigmund Freud's dream interpretations are one of his greatest works.He tried to explain the different behavior that human existence has and even once said that the jokes are the interpretation of reflection of issues which are difficult to comprehend and certain times when we try to avoid these issue jokes seems like an easy passage to do so.So if you are interested in psychology the work of Sigmund Freud would surely be a treat for you.
