Diwali is a religious festival founded in India. It is also celebrated by Sikhs and Jains. This year's Diwali is celebrated on the 14th of November 2020.
"Diwali" means “row of lights” in the ancient language of India — Sanskrit. While celebrating this festival, people beautify their homes with lights and oil lamps (diyas).

4. Diwali is known to be a time to have fun with friends and family. Gifts, packages, sweets, and delicious feasts are used to celebrate Diwali. People set out firework displays while putting on new clothes and wear big smiles.
