ANCIENT!! Yes! I have heard this word...Where...where...Yea...in my school History book...Is it what you all think??Am I correct???
From what we all know ancient is something old, something belonging to the distant past...But ancient is actually very beautiful, spectacular and mind blowing and sometimes it is even a throw back to us.. Ancient things are always a mystery to us. But all we can do is explore a little in that mystery. Don't you think so.. So let's jump into that mystery...
There are various ancient things that will amuse us. And I am here with one such interesting ancient topic. The picture below describes everything that I want to tell...Could you guess it...

"Tchung-kee, a Mandan Game Played with a Ring and Pole" by artist George Catlin Ok. Let me give you all some clues. It is ancient. It is related to tribes and spears. It is an athletic exercise. This particular thing requires a vast area about 47 acres. This particular athletic exercise leads to death. I think by now you would have got somewhere near the topic. Let me tell you.. It’s., Tchung-kee??Sounds ancient...isn't it..Ok.Lets get to know it..Tchung-kee is also known as chunky, chenco, chunkey was a game of Native Americans, originated around 600 CE in the Cahokia region that is now near St. Louis and Missouri and usually played among different tribes with different rules but same spirit. Just like other games it has two teams and there should be equal members in both team. How is the game played that is obviously going to be your next question. So, the game is played by rolling a stone in disc shape across the ground and the both teams start throwing their spears at that stone. That's the game. Winners are decided by the level of closeness of their spears to the disc shaped stone. It seems simple and fun. But the worst part of the game comes after determining the winners and losers. As a punishment for the losers, the severity of the punishment goes till suicide. This is the sad part of the game. But if it is a friendly match then it is really fun and a enjoyable game. Now all of you are familiar with one of our ancient game Chenco..(Tchung-kee) right?? Next let me take you with me to explore another interesting ancient game....
Stay tuned...
